Welcome David William!

Love how this "New Car" themed announcement came together!  Dave had a similar one when he was born and when he wanted to incorporate the car theme in David's announcement I was a little unsure...  It wasn't like anything we had ever put together before.  I brainstormed, played and worked and then BOOM.   I am SO excited for how it turned out and I hope Stacey and Dave love it as much as I do!
Congrats you two on your perfect little Model Number One.

here is the front of the announcement...

A Ride to the Top

Family fun day was something we used to have EVERY week and has now become almost a distant memory. My husbands hours changed at work, Madi started kindergarten and I am super busy with bellies, babies, brides and everything in between. We just haven't had too many days where we could spend them "playing" so when we had the chance to do so, we took it and ran. We let Madi decide where she would like to go... The Arch? The Zoo? Chuck E. Cheese? A Park? Without any hesitation she says, "THE ARCH!!!!!" Funny cause I didn't even know she knew what an arch was but we were definitely going there!

All summer Ashley and I went to City Garden to shoot seniors, wedding parties, families, and I would always think about how much fun Madi would have there and how I couldn't wait to bring her there. So I decided, if we were going to the Arch, we were gonna go to the City Garden as well!!

I love this kid! :)

Madi loves when I sing 'Isn't She Lovely' to her and she was so excited when he knew how to play it on the sax!

My husband has lived in St. Louis his ENTIRE life and never been to Keiner Plaza! I couldn't stop laughing when he saw this picture and said "Wow! That picture is really cool, the way you lined everything up with the Arch and the fountain and that building!" Yep. That shot, I invented it! :)

My girl and her Daddy!

We saw this while in line waiting to go up. Bohnert is a family name on my husbands side.

LOVE this.

I just don't know where she gets it...

I am "that Mom"

My daughter started soccer a few weeks ago. I think there is nothing cuter than my little girly girl in soccer shorts and shin guards with her hair in a pony. Let me say when I say girly girl, I'm talking my daughter lives in dresses. My neighbors have even commented... "She's like a doll" "I have never seen her in anything but a dress" "She is like a little princess" I mean my kid does not own a pair of jeans and hasn't for the last two years. BUT, let me say she will wear that dress and not be afraid to get dirty climbing a tree, playing with Tanker and Bella (our puppies) fishing with her Daddy or washing a car with her Grandpa. She had a few practices and then, last weekend, she had a tournament. The game starts and I don't know what came over me, but my rear flew out of the seat when my kid had the ball! I was rooting her on... okay yelling, GO GO GO!! KICK IT!! TO THE GOAL!! I was so proud of my baby! Aunt Ashley even came to one of her games and after about 3 minutes she was ready to sit with the other team. She was like, "Alicea, you are scaring the children." I wasn't really. Right?? Even my mother lost her voice! I started trying to be quiet so my sister wouldn't leave me out of embarassment and then my mother started screaming, "KICK THE BALL GIRLS!!" My mom and I were helping, coaching, rooting and cheering... It's funny I never knew all that would come out of me. Some moms chat, some moms text, I'm that mom who's yelling and cheering like a mad woman. But I'm okay with that. I am paying attention to my girl and my kid knows I am there.
