Happy BirthDay Tilly: Sunshine

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine."    

Big personalities come in little packages.   Standing less than 3 feet tall, little Tilly packs the punch.   Energy, sense of humor, a laugh that can make you melt, and an inquisitive fascination with the world around her.  She radiates love.  She shares this sunshine and happiness with everyone around her.   When I think of her, I smile.   What a beautiful quality to encompass.     On behalf of everyone, thank you Tilly for bringing so much sunshine into my life.  :)

I met Tilly last year after several chats with her mom about setting up her 18 month photo session.  (Here is that session.)   This was a session I had been looking forward to.  Her mom, Jill, was totally down with making the session special, creative and perfectly fit to the personality that exudes from little Tilly.   She was no different when it came to Tilly's 2 year Happy BirthDay session.  She took the time to check out my Pinterest ideas and even added in some ideas of her own.   We set up a full styled shoot in my loft.   When I was choosing a space to live, I specifically chose this space because the abundance of natural light and open space....would make made a set-up like this possible.   This is going to go down as one of my favorite shoots ever.   Everything that we had talked about, planned up, and wanted was visually conveyed.   :)

Welcome Itty Bitty Ethan!

When I saw Ethan's adorable nautical and sailboat themed nursery, I knew I had to incorporate it into his personalized Birth Announcement.   Welcome to the crew Ethan!!!

Last year, I met Lesley and Jeff for the first time when I met them for their Ripe Belly Session. They had decided to do an entire BirthStory with us. I was there to capture their excitement and anticipation at their maternity session. I was there to capture the joy and tears that filled their eyes the moment they heard Lydia let out her first cry. The moment their lives were forever different....the moment they met their sweet little girl. I was there to capture Lydia with them at her new home. For the past year, I have been amazed every time I see a new photo album that Lesley uploads onto FaceBook. I can not believe how fast she is growing up! She has these piercing blue eyes that are definitely going to break hearts one day. She has this ADORABLE dimple when she really smiles that I love. The longest eyelashes ever. And this girl has personality! A ton of it!!! Throughout the session, she would go from the sweetest smile to the silliest face and then start cracking up once she knew she had made you laugh. I could not get enough of her....and also she did not want me to stop holding her, which kind of stole my heart that much more. Happy 1st Birthday, Lydia!!! Watching you grow up in front of my camera reinforces once again how lucky I am to meet the people I meet and do the job that I do. :)

Oh.....and one more surprise.....Jeff and Lesley are expecting baby #2!!!!! Lydia is going to be an amazing big sis!!!! :)

Allie and Blake are 6 Months!

Six months ago, we were there to help Ricky and Katy introduce their new bundles of joy to friends and family. We fell in love with Blake and Allie. We always love having the chance to watch our LeLe babies grow up. When we at Ricky and Katy's home, the first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful pictures on their walls from the Itty Bitty Session. I LOVE going into a client's home, and seeing moments that we captured as artwork hanging up! As I walked a little further into their home, I saw Allie and Blake. It was hard to believe that these two little babies once fit into that little pod that is pictured above ^ ^ ^. They were crawling all over, laughing at my silly faces, and growing up just as they all seem to do.....too fast! :)

Grandma was there.....she loves her grandbabies!!! :)

Blake has these eyes that would hypnotize someone. They are the most piercing blue eyes I have ever seen!

We did not want to give these babies up when it was time to leave!!! Do you blame us!?!?

How many 6 month old kiddos do you know have their own personal yoga instructor!?!? I was so proud of Allie! She perfected downward dog!! :)
