Welcome Itty Bitty Jane!!!!

Even though I am a Mizzou kind of girl.....Erin and Michael are HUGE KU fans, and it will always hold a special place in their heart considering they met there. :) Here is their little "J-Hawk".

So now it is time for a little lesson in Irish culture. When Alicea and I were in San Fran, it seemed that everywhere we went there were Irish fellas. One in particular explained the significance and meaning of this special ring. The hands signify friendship, the heart symbolizes love, and the crown denotes loyalty. When the heart is facing towards you, you are in a relationship, if it is facing outward, you are single. If it is worn on the right hand it could possibly mean "in a relationship and it's complicated". I like to think of it as their facebook status pre-facebook. lol. It is often Irish Tradition to wear these rings as engagement or wedding bands. Erin and Michael both have one.....

Since we had so much fun with our Irish friends.....of course my sis had to get some shots of me with the ring, and let me be the first to say...I was def. not born to be a hand model.
