Haylee: Sunshine & Sparkles

Ripe Belly, BirthDay, Itty Bitty Session, 3 Month, 6 Month, and now I present to you,  Miss Haylee's 9 Month Portrait Session!    It is hard to believe that the next time I see her, we will be shooting her 1st Birthday Pictures!    A portrait session every 3 months may sound like a little much.....but anyone who has watched their little baby grow up, they know how fast that first year flies by.  I often hear them talking about how it seems like it was just yesterday that they were up all of those sleepless night as new parents entrusted with this little baby they had waited so patiently to meet.   During that first year, they change, grow and become a little person all too fast.  Jessi and Steve will always have these images that bring them back to each milestone, moment and feeling that they shared as they proudly watched their baby girl grow up.    Happy 9 Months!!!!    

I was like a kid in a candy store when I pulled my brand new Drop it Modern backdrop out of the box!!!  Sparkles, sparkles, and more sparkles!!!!   The bling bling mesmerizes me and brings me to my happy place.   SO HAPPY that my FedEx man delivered this very special backdrop the morning of Haylee's shoot!!!!    

Those chubby cheeks and juicy legs!!!   I just love this little girl!!!!!  

You would think she was born with a camera pointed at her or something!!!!   Oh wait, she was!!   :)   Such a perfect little model!   :)

Look Who's Almost One: Brynley

Matt and Steffanie have a LOT to celebrate. Their little girl will be turning one in about a month. We originally had set up her photo session to be 6 month pictures in early December. Steff and I ended up rescheduling two different times due to Matt getting sick, and last minute meetings coming up with work. I didn't mind one bit, because it actually worked out perfectly. What originally was supposed to be 6 month pictures turned into 9 month pics....and ultimately turned into a photo session for marking her first year milestone. With her big Lace and Vintage Western themed 1st Bday party coming up......we had to design an invitation for her.......

Then a little someone needed a little power nap. So while she took a 20 minute snoozer.....I had to get some shots of mom and dad..... :)



I mean seriously.....she might be crying.....but it is still the cutest thing ever......


More dress-up! :)




I couldn't figure out what she wanted.....
so I gave her the lens cap to my 50mm. She was so excited! Who would've known. We tried, toys, books, singing songs, and me making a complete fool of myself to make her laugh.....all she wanted was the lens cap.....

Growing, Growing Gus

Our little LeLe baby, Gus is becoming a little man as quickly as can be!! We have been lucky enough to capture his Birthstory, 3 Month Pictures, 6 Month Pictures, and most recently his 9 Month Pictures. Just when I did not think it was possible for him to melt my heart any more than he already has......he did it all over again!!!

While Mommy and LeLe were catching up, Gus was having a blast eating his lunch....


The Easter Bunny brought Gus this awesome ball pit. He LOVED it!!!

You may ask, what is going on here, I am NOT KIDDING.....GUS was doing yoga moves!!! He was totally busting out Downward Facing Dog!! Many of you may know, I teach yoga, so this was cracking me up!! Looks like all of that yoga Ashley did while she was pregnant made an impact on little Gus. :)
