Happy Birthday Keegan!

My good friend's nephew had a birthday a few weeks back. Madi was so excited to be invited to his birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese and we talked about what kind of present to give her friend. As a mom, I know that kids have MORE toys than they know what to do with, so I thought, what gift could be better than one that lasts forever... One that can freeze a moment in time for him to look back at one day and see what he looked like... How he played with his Daddy... and to capture the beautiful innocence that only a small child is so full of... I asked Madi if she would like to help me take pictures of Keegan and she was ALL FOR IT! Aimed with bubbles in her hand she was so ready to be my little helper. Enjoy some of my favorites from this adorable session!

Southern Charm

Southern people have a certain charm about them. I do not know if it is the accent, their manners, or the way every sentence includes a "mam" or "sir". Maybe it is a combination of all of those combined, but there is something so charming about someone from the south. Edie was no different. She is from Alabama, and has that sweet accent, gorgeous southern belle looks, and a personality straight from heaven. She was a joy to be around, and so was her lovely hubby. Look how cute they are together......

I mean seriously....how could they not make a baby this perfect...........
Little Ann-Dyas in her adorable one year dress. Another thing I learned about Southern-ers....They include the mother's maiden name as part of the daughter's name. Hence "Ann-Dyas". :)

Krejci Family

Last week I got to capture the family session for Laurie and Elliot. Laurie contacted us about 3 months ago. I knew that she had been referred to us by our famous little Gus' mom, Ashley. I also knew that she was very excited about having us capture her family's photos. She sent in her deposit, reserved her date for the shoot, and even chatted with me about outfit/location ideas. I love whenever my clients are excited for their photo session. It makes me smile inside and outside. It makes what you love to do that much more gratifying. :) As I pulled up to the Grand Basin, I spotted their adorable coordinated outfits. It was hot as heck outside, BUT they still rocked it out!!! Good job Krejcis!!

Once people are married and then have children, it seems like they never have any pictures taken of the two of them. It is usually all family and children pictures. We always like to take just a couple minutes to make sure that we capture that love of Mom and Dad....even if the kids are running around and making funny noises in the background. You would never be able to tell by this pic.... :)

Growing, Growing Gus

Our little LeLe baby, Gus is becoming a little man as quickly as can be!! We have been lucky enough to capture his Birthstory, 3 Month Pictures, 6 Month Pictures, and most recently his 9 Month Pictures. Just when I did not think it was possible for him to melt my heart any more than he already has......he did it all over again!!!

While Mommy and LeLe were catching up, Gus was having a blast eating his lunch....


The Easter Bunny brought Gus this awesome ball pit. He LOVED it!!!

You may ask, what is going on here, I am NOT KIDDING.....GUS was doing yoga moves!!! He was totally busting out Downward Facing Dog!! Many of you may know, I teach yoga, so this was cracking me up!! Looks like all of that yoga Ashley did while she was pregnant made an impact on little Gus. :)
